Lid’ya & Jimmie’s Full-Circle Love Story at DoubleTree Atlanta

Lid’ya and Jimmie’s wedding wasn’t a beginning, but more so a return. After meeting in the military, getting married and divorced, they found their way back to each other. This wedding was their second “I do,” and maybe the most meaningful one yet. 

The Backstory

These two never really fell out of love. Life happened. Time passed. And somehow, love brought them back together, this time stronger, softer, and ready for forever. Their story was full of honesty, resilience, and grace, and you could feel that energy in every part of the day.

A Love-Centered Event with Family at the Heart

Lid’ya made it clear from the jump: her family is her everything.

She shared a first look with her son, who later served as ring bearer. Her daughters were bridesmaids and flower girls. The aisle moment was truly a  family moment. Watching them all walk down together was like watching a love story unfold in real time.

From the plated dinner to the fog-and-sparklers first dance moment, the evening was elegant without being stiff — heartfelt without being heavy. Even when vendors hit snags behind the scenes (it happens!), Lid’ya reacted to everything with ease and grace. Although the Miah Luke Co. team only handled the month-of coordination, we couldn’t have asked for a better bride to co-plan with.

When you know what matters (and who matters) it’s easy to let the small stuff go. This celebration was proof of that.
