DeAmber & Jacob’s Atlanta Wedding at the Waldorf Astoria Buckhead

Held at the iconic Waldorf Astoria in Buckhead, DeAmber and Jacob’s wedding was the definition of elegant, elevated, and emotionally grounded. Every moment of the day was designed with care, from the custom cigar bar and glow stick send-off to the late-night snack bar that made sure guests left full and happy.

This was a month-of coordination wedding, but DeAmber came into the process with a clear vision and a beautifully planned event. Her mom had saved for this day and spared no detail to make it special for her daughter, which added such a deep layer of meaning to every part of the celebration. There was so much love in the room — not just between the couple, but from their families, friends, and every single vendor working behind the scenes.

A Unique Planning Dynamic

One thing that made this day stand out was that DeAmber and I (Darcha) worked together closely on the day-of — something that usually adds stress for brides, but in this case, actually calmed it. DeAmber is the rare kind of bride who could zoom out and keep tabs on the full picture while still staying present. She was kind, gracious, and grounded, even when things didn’t go exactly as planned. The two of us made on-the-spot adjustments together, keeping the day flowing smoothly while protecting the joy of every moment.

Sweet Details & Personal Touches

The couple met in college, and their relationship has grown and evolved over the years, so it only felt right that their wedding reflected that depth. They leaned into moments that felt like them: a fun photo booth, a late-night snack bar to fuel the dance floor, and a few extras like custom glow sticks and a sleek cigar lounge setup that gave guests something to enjoy all night long.
